Jacqui McGinn | [email protected]
Last updated: 25th April 2026
Hello, and welcome These terms exist to be clear and fair to both of us, so we can focus on what really matters: your learning journey. Please take a few minutes to read through them before you dive in.
These Terms and Conditions apply to Jacqui McGinn (“Jacqui,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based at 58 Allbrook Knoll, Hampshire SO50 4RY. You can reach us at [email protected]. By purchasing or accessing any of our courses, you (“you” or “your”) are agreeing to the terms below.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
1. General
This website is owned and operated by Jacqui McGinn. You must be at least 18 years old to use this website and purchase our courses. By using this site, you accept these Terms and Conditions as they stand — and we’ll always keep the ‘last updated’ date at the top of this page current so you know if anything has changed.
If you have any concerns or questions about these terms, please just get in touch at [email protected]. We’re always happy to help.
2. Your Course Access
When you purchased one of our courses, you were given a clear notice that these Terms and Conditions existed. By completing your purchase and accessing our courses, you agree to be bound by them.
Your access is personal to you — it’s a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence for your own private, non-commercial use. Here’s what that means in practice:
You’re welcome to:
Please don’t:
If additional members of your team or household would like access, we’d love to have them — each person simply needs their own purchase.
3. Our Content and Intellectual Property
All content in our courses — including text, images, videos, graphics, logos, and course materials — belongs to Jacqui McGinn or is used with proper permission. We’ve put a great deal of care and work into creating it, and we ask you to respect that.
If you’d like to share or use any of our content in a way not covered above - for example, for a blog post, a class you teach, or a social media feature - please just drop us an email first. We’re usually very open to things like this when asked nicely!
4. Reviews
We may invite you to share a review of our courses, and we genuinely love hearing how your learning is going! If you do leave a review, we ask that it:
We reserve the right to decline to publish reviews that don’t meet these guidelines, but we’d never edit what you’ve said. By posting a review, you give us permission to share it (in whole or in part) as part of our marketing and business activity.
5. Privacy and Confidentiality
Your privacy matters to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and store your personal data.
Any messages you send us via email, contact forms, or comments may be seen by members of our small team where necessary to respond to you. We won’t share your communications beyond that without good reason.
6. Payments and Refunds
Payment
By completing your purchase, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the total shown at checkout. We use trusted third-party processors (such as Stripe or PayPal) to handle your payment securely — we don’t store your full card details ourselves.
Prices may change from time to time for new purchases, but your purchase price is honoured at the point of sale. All payments are processed in Pounds Sterling unless otherwise specified, and applicable taxes will be applied as required by law.
Recurring payments
If you’ve signed up for a recurring or auto-renewing product, your payment method will be charged at each renewal. You can cancel at any time by contacting us — just get in touch.
Refunds
Due to the digital nature of our courses, we’re generally unable to offer refunds once access has been granted. If you’re having any difficulties with our courses or something isn’t working as expected, please reach out — we’d always rather sort things out than have you frustrated.
Chargebacks
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first — we’re very approachable and will do our best to help. In the event of a chargeback, we reserve the right to provide evidence of your access and these Terms to the relevant financial institution.
7. Disclaimers
Our courses are designed for educational purposes. While we put enormous care into the accuracy and quality of the content, language learning is a journey and individual progress will vary.
We cannot guarantee specific outcomes from our courses, and results will naturally differ from person to person depending on experience, practice, and other factors beyond our control.
Our courses are not a substitute for professional translation or language services, and we are not responsible for any outcomes arising from your use of language skills learned through our courses.
Our website and technology platforms are maintained to a high standard, but occasional technical issues can happen. We’ll always do our best to help, though some issues may require support from the platform provider directly.
8. Security
Please keep your login details safe and don’t share them with others. If you think your account has been compromised, let us know straight away and we’ll help you get it sorted.
9. Ending Your Access
You’re free to stop using our courses at any time. If you’d like us to remove your data or account, just email us.
We reserve the right to withdraw access if these Terms are seriously or repeatedly breached — but we’d always want to have a conversation first if there’s a genuine misunderstanding.
10. Resolving Disputes
We genuinely hope you love our courses and never need this section! But if something goes wrong, please come to us first — we’d much rather talk things through and find a fair solution than escalate anything.
If we can’t resolve a dispute between us directly, we agree to try mediation or alternative dispute resolution before pursuing formal legal action.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
